Mr. and Mrs. X, Spider-Man/Deadpool, and Asgardians of the Galaxy are Absent from Marvel's July Solicitations

Following up on our analysis of which Marvel Comics might be ending after July based on foreboding solicitations, these are the titles that are not solicited at all in July, from which we can likely infer they are canceled. As we said in the previous article, Marvel rarely announces the cancellation of a book, presumably to avoid websites writing articles about it. Instead, they simply stop soliciting new issues.

That appears to be what's happened with Asgardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man/Deadpool, and Mr. and Mrs. X.

If you want to compare the solicits we listed in the previous article with the final issue solicits of these probably-canceled titles, here's Asgardians of the Galaxy's last issue, hitting stores in June:

ASGARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #10
APR190762
(W) Cullen Bunn (A) Luca Maresca (CA) Gerardo Sandoval
WAR OF THE REALMS TIE-IN!
ANGELA VS. THE QUEEN OF HEVEN! Angela was kidnapped at birth, stolen from her Asgardian heritage and raised an outcast in the less-than-heavenly Heven. For years, she has wandered the universe as neither a true Asgardian nor a true Angel. Now she has the chance to repay her "debt" to the Queen who stole her away. The Asgardians of the Galaxy fight for their comrade and for all of Midgard in the depths of Heven-controlled Africa!

That one is actually hard to pick out as a last issue, but there's no issue in July. Here's what June's Mr. and Mrs. X #12 looks like:

MR. AND MRS. X #12
(W) Kelly Thompson (A) Oscar Bazaldua (CA) Terry Dodson
• Happily Ever After?
• Rogue and Gambit have had quite the year – will they finally be able to relax and enjoy marital bliss?
• Don't bet on it!

Okay, that one should have been a clue. And finally, Spider-Man/Deadpool #50, which would appear to be ending in May:

SPIDER-MAN/DEADPOOL #50
(W) Robbie Thompson (A) Jim Towe, Matt Horak (CA) Dave Johnson
THE BIGGEST CLIMAX OF THE BIGGEST MARVEL EVENT OF ALL TIME!
• An epic 50th issue – guaranteed to blow your socks off! READ WITH EXTRA SOCKS!
• Spider-Man and Deadpool fight the Manipulator for the fate of the entire Marvel Universe!
• I HOPE THEY PULL IT OFF! I REALLY LIKE THIS UNIVERSE! I'M SO WORRIED!

The loss of Spider-Man/Deadpool is probably the most heartbreaking of all. This is, of course, the book that brought us the first appearance of Major X, which spun off into a hit comic for Marvel. How many other great characters could Spider-Man/Deadpool have given us if it hadn't been canceled?

Well, that's what we're seeing in the solicits this month. Did we miss any?
