Sunday Trending Topics: What Is Aquaman's Secret?
Who destroyed Atlantis? What is the secret of Aquaman's trident? I don't know the answer to any of these questions, and though I'm just a casual fan, I've found myself defending the character quite a bit lately. He's one of very few characters to sustain a solid story-starring run from the Golden Age through the 1970s (that's More Fun 73-107, Adventure Comics 103-284, Showcase #30-32, then Aquaman 1-56, in order, and not counting stuff like Justice League appearances). Then last month, of course, he outsold every Marvel comic for the month. And now here he is, last but not least, topping BC's trending topics. That all adds up to a pretty important character, both historically and currently.

SCOOP: Doctor Who/Star Trek – The Official Crossover
Bleeding Cool has squirrelled out news of an upcoming crossover that might send certain minds reeling. That in May, IDW are to publish a Doctor Who/Star Trek: The Next Generation crossover series. Featuring The Doctor, Rory, Amy, Captain Picard, Worf, Data, Geordi LaForge, Deanna Troi, Will Riker and the rest. And that this art, featuring the Doctor, Rory and Amy on the bridge of the Enterprise is a cover that will be used in the series.

n the early 1970s, Alejandro Jodorowsky mounted an infamous attempt to translate Frank Herbert's epic space opera Dune into a feature film. After two years of hard work, the project collapsed and we never got a movie.
There Will Be Blood and Little Miss Sunshine's Paul Dano appears in a new short film released on line as a promo. It's kind of a sketch about a book club with jokes about porn cliches, but it's also a trailer for a novel called Flatscreen. Just don't expect to learn anything much about the book.
