Five Years In The Cubes For Making Fake Judge Dredd Badges?

Seems one eBay seller, a Justin Shorthouse operating under the name justheroes-uk has been making resin copies of the Termight replica Judge Dredd badges (left)and selling them on eBay as reproduction movie set props. (right)

Ironically, this badge style wasn't actually used in the Dredd movie, but is based on the comic book style. Compare and contrast.

Wakefield Carter of Termight details the differences;

Do not buy a Judge Dredd badge from justheroes-uk on eBay. He is selling painted resin copies of my licensed Judge Dredd badge, but from the description you might think he is just selling on a badge he bought from me.

His badges aren't licensed.
His badges aren't metal.
His badges aren't gold-plated.
His badges aren't detailed.

One purchaser took him to task and was told;

hi it is a £9.99 prop badge in frame , i do not know wat you thort it was ??, so send it back for a refund, i have a buyer for it, sorry you are not happy ,

Which really fills you wiuth confidence. Apparently Justin bought a Termight badge four years ago and has been making copies ever since. As well as fake James Bond memoribilia and fake signature cards.

Who know, maybe the real Dredd will have to pay a visit?
