DC Sell Out Twenty-Seven First Issues Of The New 52
We already knew that the Justice League, Batgirl, Action Comics, Hawk And Dove, Justice League International, Animal Man and Batman And Robin first prints had sold out from DC Comics and Diamond Comic Distributors but now DC have announced that almost all of last week's DC superhero titles – and all of this week's – have sold out in a similar fashion. And will all get second prints.
That's Justice League (twice), Action Comics, Animal Man, Batgirl, Batwing, Detective Comics, Green Arrow, Hawk & Dove, JLI, Men Of War, OMAC, Static Shock, Stormwatch, Swamp Thing, Batman And Robin, Batwoman, Deathstrike, Demon Knights, Frankenstein, Green Lantern, Grifter, Legion Lost, Mr Terrific, Red Lanterns, Resurrection Man, Suicide Squad and Superboy.
This has been a direct result of retailers increasing their orders after seeing sellouts across the range of the DC relaunch. So this means you should find copies in your local comic stores – more copies even – just that's all you'll be getting until the second prints come through.
Those September statistics are going to look very interesting indeed. Shall we start a deadpool for the Top 100 chart number of the first Marvel title on the list?
