ComiXology Glitch – All Of Today's Marvel Comics Are Free

UPDATE: You snoozed, you lost, ComiXology appear to have removed the Marvel BOGO sale entirely, in order to get rid of its glitch. Congrats if you made it, sorry to West Coasters especially.

ComiXology is running a Marvel Buy One Get One Free offer today. It is advertised as such on their website.

But the terms are clear. It does not apply to titles released this week. The cut-off date for eligible titles is last Wednesday. It's a pretty good deal. But thanks to a glitch, there is a better one.

If you use the BOGO codeword on this week's Marvel titles, for some unknown reason, you get them all for free. Whether that's Thanos Legacy, the latest X-Men Red collection, or the new Asgardians Of The Galaxy. All for free.

I can confirm that it works on ComiXology.co.uk as well as on ComiXology.com. Now, at some point, it is likely that this glitch will be fixed. And it is also possible that ComiXology will decide to pull everyone's purchases and ask if they want them to buy them again. But it's unlikely.

Still, I expect there will be some interesting conversations between retailers and Marvel on that Facebook forum sometime today.
