Now Marvel Gets a Special Tray For Comics at Walmart – 3 For $5

With the #6's of DC's 100 Page Giants arriving this weekend before Christmas at Walmarts through the U.S. many fans might notice a tag along, as Marvel has released a new set of 3 comics for 1 price sets exclusive to Walmart.

With no new sets hitting Walmarts for over a year, Marvel is back and trying to at least get a toe in the Walmart exclusive business repackaging 1st prints of Venom Annual #1, Uncanny X-Men #1 (LGY #620), Solo Movie Adaption #1, Avengers #10 (LGY #700), Infinity Wars #1, Spider-Man Enter The Spider-Verse #1, Fantastic Four #3 (LGY #648), and an exclusive cover for Spider-Geddon #1.

Each set includes the same two comics it seems with a mix match of the Legacy Holofoil exclusives like Iron Man #593, U.S.Avengers #11, Champions #13, as well as odder inclusions like the 2nd print of Marvel Super Hero Adventures Spider-Man and the Stolen Vibranium #1, Marvel Legacy #1, and S.H.I.E.L.D. #2 (2015) Variant.

The comics also have their own nice new display, similar to the DC Holiday display, designed to hold one row of comics, about 15 to 20 packs though most displays only have one of each set mentioned above.

Though one Walmart with these new packs and the new display still felt they were not as important as their DC books …

… maybe a message from Walmart that Marvel needs to up its game?

Some of the comics on the front of these packs are very recent with Uncanny X-Men #1 and Fantastic Four #3 only 2 months old, and Avengers #10 (#700) even newer, and the price point of $5 for each pack makes the three comics cheaper then just buying Avengers #10 on its own.

Also several of these comics, like Venom Annual #1 and Spider-Geddon #1 are already on to 2nd prints making this an easy way to grab up first prints … if you are near a Walmart.
