This is the solicited cover to Powers Of X #3, published by Marvel Comics tomorrow, up against Superman: Year One #2 and Batman #77 for the bestselling book of the week. But here's something that might give it a little nudge…

The comic will be getting a secret variant cover, which has just been spotted by an eagle-eyed comic book retailer.

With Illyana Rasputin and Nightcrawler being replaced by chimera mutants of a hundred years hence, Rasputin and Cardinal. How does this refer to the comic book itself? Haven't a clue. Maybe we will tomorrow. And no, I don't know the ration of standard cover to secret variant cover but these are usually around one in ten…
