DC's Top 10 Leading Ladies
Since March is Women's History month, DC All Access has put together their Top Ten Leading Ladies list and I think the list is interesting for more than just whose on it, but also who isn't. All but one on the list has been or will be adapted for live-action and some of the names are obvious: Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Black Canary, Lois Lane and Harley Quinn. Others a little less so with Amanda Waller, Renee Montoya, Big Barda and Stargirl making the list.
But I look at whose not on the list: Zatanna, Vixen, Hawkgirl and Catwoman to name a few. I think you can make some strong arguments for these characters… maybe even stronger arguments, than a few of the ones that made the list. I like Big Barda, but on a list of leading ladies, how does she beat out Catwoman?
