Valiant Tells Retailers They Didn't Order Enough Quantum & Woody, At MCM London Comic Con
At MCM London Comic Con's Diamond Retailer Meeting yesterday, Valiant's Atom Freeman took the stage to tell retailers in a semi-tongue-in-cheek fashion that they hadn't ordered enough copies of Quantum & Woody! #1, the new series by Daniel Kibblesmith and Kano. "You just haven't" he concluded.
That includes the extreme ultra foil variant cover recycling nineties and noughties variant cover foil stock and the Most Variant 1:250 tiered cover that is chromium lenticular embossed die cut two foils, iridescent ink, hand numbered stickered with fourth hero, a glow in dark goat, and no two alike.
Atom also stated that ahead of the Harbinger Wars 2 series, that they would be covering UK customers who had clipped coupons for Harbinger 2 #0, despite previously saying they wouldn't.
And reminding them that the launch of HW2 would see a comic with is 48 pages for 3.99, two issues from two creative teams, in one. And that HW2 would have something for Free Comic Book Day 2018. He didn't say that retailers would underorder HW2 as well… but you could see it in his eyes.
We also got a proper glimpse ahead of the Quantum & Woody! first issue, along with the retailer preview version from NYCC on every chair.
And a tiny peek at Ninja-K too…
