Resonant #1 Gets a Very Meaningful 'Comic Dreams' Variant From Ramon Villalobos at San Diego Comic-Con 2019
David Andry whose debut book, Resonant #1 with Alejandro Aragon, comes out tomorrow from Vault Comics, will be at San Diego Comic-Con from tomorrow. But this is not his first rodeo at the show. Indeed, he has been working as a volunteer at the Skybound Entertainment side to the Image Comics booth since the studio's' first show in 2010.
There are lots of people excited about the launch of Resonant, to the extent that I had to include it on the Monster Week post earlier today.
But I am also told there is a "secret" variant cover for issue 1 under the Comic Dreams name. This references the now-closed comic shop where Dave Andry used to shop at, as well as Shawn Kirkham of Skybound and Ramon Villalobos, who has drawn the cover.
There are only 250 copies and it hasn't been said how these will be made available, but David Andry will have limited copies on sale during his signings at the Vault Booth #1819 each day, where he will sign from between 11.30 and 12.30 from Thursday to Sunday…
So. One to scope out?
