Today's Original Sin Crossovers Go To The Garden Of Eden, Heaven And Winnetka, Illinois

The Avengers Original Sin crossovers haven't, on the surface, been much about the death of the Watcher and the spilling out of secrets from one of his eyes, as wielded by The Orb.

I mean at its heart, there's the realisation from Captain America about the truth behind the Illuminati and their plans to commit genocide to save the Earth, but the focus has been on the time gem, the future of the Earth, how to deal with the incursions and what fate has in store.

Well, today's Avengers seems to realise that if it has that Original Sin logo on its cover, it might want to do something about that. First we have Captain America responding to what the Eye showed him…

But as to where this is happening? A garden.

Isolated from everywhere else. With a big massive tree in the middle of it.

That is run by someone with the powers of god. A bountiful place but he commands them not to eat of the fruit of the tree.

How more "original sin" can you get?

A really fun issue, with some decent future science and an ending that will lead to an infinite amount of squeeing. I won't run that now though. I'll run that later. Because, Slott.

And there are a lot of Original Sin crossovers to read this week. Deadpool's kid takes after her old man….

We learn of the plans of the original Invaders to use their superpowers to create a tsunami to destroy the Japanese fleet and anyone else around, with Captain America participating. A strange allegory for Hiroshima… that's played out while people are also talking about Hiroshima.

In Original Sin #5.1 We learn about the battle of Asgard and Heaven, with the angels taking Odin's first born away with them. And so we also learn Angela's real name. Aldrif.

Johnny Storm did a bad thing and then lied about it in Fantastic Four

Oh and Black Bolt started the war with the Kree in Original Sins.

It's interesting, the British media is full of allegations against media figures and politicians, exposing their quite hideous sins. Marvel's crossover does rather seem to have hit the zeitgeist somewhat.
