When Bucky Barnes Punches a Chicago Cop in Next Week's Winter Soldier #1

The Winter Soldier's new series, which kicks off next week, opens up with a bang as the titular soldier assaults a Chicago police officer.

You're probably wondering how we got to this point. Well, there's actually a pretty good reason, as this preview of next week's Winter Soldier #1 reveals. It turns out those cops are dirty, and they're planning a heist of some drugs, and they're forcing a fellow officer, Arthur, to go along with it.

But Arthur wants out, and the Winter Soldier has come to his rescue, setting him up with a new identity so he can get away.

Unfortunately, before Arthur can make his mistake, those other two show up, and, well, you already saw what happened then.

If you want to see more (beyond the rest of the preview below), you'll need to pick up Winter Soldier #1, which is in stores on Wednesday.
