Disney Springs Adds New Italian Eateries
Orlando based food journalist, Scott Joseph, has announced that the Patina Restaurant Group is developing three new eateries for the popular shopping destination. Joining Disney Springs will be Maria & Enzo's Ristorante, Enzo's Hideaway Tunnel Bar, and Pizza Ponte.
Maria & Enzo's will occupy an abandoned 1930's airline terminal, or at least, one Disney will be developing for the story. Travel memorabilia, 50 foot ceilings, and a view of Lake Buena Vista should entice guests to stop on by. The menu is rumored to be similar to Portabello's, which closed. Enzo's Hideaway will occupy "former" rum runner tunnels, and guests can access it via Maria & Enzo's. They will serve Prohibition style cocktails, and more casual Italian fare. Pizza Ponte will be a casual, quick dining option. They will obviously serve pizza, as well as sandwiches and more.
I'm looking forward to trying each of these when they open!
