Paula Patton (Warcraft) has been tapped to lead a new ABC summer series called Somewhere Between. The thriller with a supernatural twist is based on a Korean format and created by Stephen Tolkin (Legend of the Seeker). It follows Laura Price (Patton) a news reporter and loving mother who somehow knows that her daughter is going to be murdered. She doesn't know who will try to kill Serena or why, but she knows exactly when, how and where and all of her attempts to keep Serena straight will fail.
Somewhere Between has a 10-episode straight to series order from ABC. It uses the lower-cost model that network prefers for its summer series.
Paula Patton starred in last summer's Warcraft as well as Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the ABC TV Movie Runner.
