Last month, Bleeding Cool reported that Marvel titles Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Wolverine, Immortal Thor, Captain America, Daredevil, Star Wars: Dark Droids, Star Wars, Darth Vader, Bounty Hunters, Doctor Aphra, and Obi-Wan were all making the jump from $3.99 32 page comics to $4.99 32 page comics in October.

And a number of books jumped up from September solicitations when they were listed as $3.99 for 32-page comic books to being $4.99 And that included the twice-monthly lead title Amazing Spider-Man, alongside Avangers, Thor and Scarlet Witch All the regular Star Wars comics also jumped from $3.99 to $4.99 as well.

But as we reported, Scott Snyder went to bat over the price of the monthly Batman comic, announced by DC Comics as going up from $3.9 to $4.99.

Currently, Scott Snyder is in battle with DC Comics to get them to bring the price of Batman down from its newly announced price of $4.99 to its previous price of $3.99.

It can't have escaped anyone's notice that the $7.99 editions of Detective Comics, Amazing Spider-Man and the like topped the charts, with extra content.
DC's digital-only titles have been shifting from 99 cents to $1.99 and still does well.
