Last week, viewers of the CW's Supergirl "The House of L" not only had the curtain pulled back on exactly how long Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) has been the puppet master behind the scenes, but also formally introduced Lex's gretaest weapon against Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Team Supergirl: Red Daughter, a Black Kryptonite-created Supergirl clone. Except this "Kara" has gotten a a Lex Luthor upgrade that just might give "Mankind's Savior" the edge he needs.
With an all-out war between humans and meta waiting to explode, it won't take much for Lex to push public sentiment against Kara – a move that might just make him an interesting ally of Ben Lockwood/Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer) and President Baker (Bruce Boxleitner).
President Lex Luthor, anyone?

As Kara mentors a new reporter at CatCo, Nia Nal (Nicole Maines), and tries to use the power of the press to shine a light on the issues, which threaten to tear the city apart, Supergirl takes to the skies to battle the many villains who rise up in this era of divisiveness. But how does Supergirl battle a movement when she, herself an alien, represents one of the main things people are fearful of?
