Warning: This Look At Today's Metal #5 Confirms Starro's Ass Count

Yesterday, Bleeding Cool promised that today's Dark Nights: Metal #5 by Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo and Jonathan Glapion would confirm the number of asses – or "arses" in English – possessed by Starro The Conqueror.

As Mr Terrific doubted that Starro even had one to kick, Hal Jordan, Green Lantern promised that he would find one.

Turns out that he rather underestimated the issue.

Sadly, as you can see, both the counting and the kicking of same, happened off panel. But Metal #5 editor, Rebecca Taylor confirms the count. Five. One per tentacle. And that is now official DC Comics continuity. And, as this counts as a reference article if anyone would like to amend the character's Wikipedia entry, they can link to this page directly.

Oh and there's also the return of Martian Manhunter, Batman and Superman confronting their childhood in hell, and Wonder Woman finding a new use of her lasso against the powers of Barbatos, and a new war cry to bring to the party.

But for me? It's all about the alien ass count.
