In Vault Comics' September 2023 solicits, Cody Ziglar and Ryan Lee, launch small town bodysnatching comic book Goobers #1.

Bleeding Cool has noted that Vault Comics seems to be doing an impersonation of Valiant Comics in 2023, offering just one new comic book a month. And in their September 2023 solicits and solicitations, that one comic is the launch of Goobers #1 by Cody Ziglar and Ryan Lee, with colours from Kurt Michael Russell in which small-town Pine Cove is "ground zero for an infestation of body-snatching alien-bugs" and we get a bit of a Garbage Pail Kids vibe along the way. As well as the collection of the Deathstalker series including Guns N; Roses' Slash working on the comic book, as well as Tim Seeley, Steven Kostanski and Jim Terry.
