A Comic Show – X-Men Blue And Spencer & Locke Too

Aaron Haaland of A Comic Shop of Orlando, Florida writes,

Hey fandom, before I dig into this week's stack I talked a little about the X-Men Gold controversy, then dug right into the new X-Men Blue and Weapon X (or X-Men Black as I've been calling it). I mentioned a few other Marvel issues, a few DC ones, some Image, and American Gods. Oh, and the standout creator owned book of the week is Spencer & Locke, it's Calvin & Hobbes meets Sin City. A mature reader book about a grown-up Calvin (Spencer) as a PI with his imaginary sidekick the stuffed Locke. The flashbacks are done in the Watterson style and the nostalgia is served up with two-fisted violence.
