Comixology Bestseller List, 9th June 2018: New World Ordered High

Welcome to the Comixology Bestseller list, your guide to see how well your favorite titles are selling digitally. Every week I'll post the ranking of every new title, plus a ranking of the best selling volumes & graphic novels. As always, I hope you find it interesting and informative.

For the seventh straight time, The Walking Dead and Batman hit No. 1 and 2 respectively in the first week of the month. The only title that could beat these two at this point is a Walking Dead/Batman crossover. Wait, nobody steal my idea!

After a high-ranking No Justice event, Scott Snyder's Justice League debuts at No. 3 this week. I'm glad there's at least one Snyder who knows how to handle the Justice League. (I kid, I kid).

So not only did Brian Michael Bendis's Man of Steel hit No. 4 again, but last week's book also beat all of Marvel's superhero titles. I'd call that a good start.

Marvel had quite a few new No. 1s this week. And while Doctor Strange and Deadpool have shown decent improvements, the Hulk smashed his way into the Top 10, as fans are excited for the return of Bruce Banner.

After last month's strong debut, Rick Remender's Death or Glory dropped a disappointing 11 spots. Do I dare use my platform to encourage people to buy this amazing comic? Is it ethical for me to tell people that its interesting characters are only matched by its gorgeous art, or that Rick Remender is one of the best writers today?

No, I cannot show any favoritism. I must remain neutral.
