Cullen Bunn's Video Store Horror Anthology, Graveyard Slaughter, Hits Kickstarter

Superstar comic book writer Cullen Bunn has yet another project coming out soon, this one from Lunchbox Press. Bunn will team with writer Kevin Watkins and artists Javier Saltares, Blacky Shepherd, Gary Bedell, and Adam McLaughlin along with letterer Troy Peteri for a new anthology comic book magazine called Graveyard Slaughter. The concept: comics evoking the nostalgic feel of the sort of horror movies you could find at your local video store, back when local video stores were still a thing.

The project is seeking $6,000 in funding on Kickstarter, and it's nearly halfway funded at the time we're writing this. $7 gets a digital copy of Graveyard Slaughter #1, while $15 gets a print copy. Check out the Kickstarter here, and read the press release below.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
