Is Frank Miller's Batman No Longer The Goddamned Batman?

But does a preview for Dark Knight III: The Master Race #9, the final issue by Frank Miller, Brian Azzarello, Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson suggest that scene – and revise it slightly with Batman's current sidekick?

That's how it looks from over here…

Frank Miller has always seen his Batman comics, Year One, All-Star, the Dark Knights, Spawn/Batman as telling one story, in different sections. Could this be a reference to how the character, as Miller sees it, is changing?

Dark Knight III: The Master Race #9 is published tomorrow.
