Image Publishes $250 Blind Box For 25th Anniversary – Including The Only Collection Of The Walking Dead's Here's Negan #1 (UPDATE)

stl044223Have you noticed it's the 25th anniversary of Image Comics? Well, they are going to make sure your wallet notices.

Because, as well as offering 25c issues of The Walking Dead, Outcast, Invincible and Saga – they are going to charge $250 for one 25th Anniversary Blind Box in May.

I mean you have some idea of what's in there.

An assortment of 25 polybagged comics made up of 17 all-new 2017 with limited edition variant covers only available in this box. With each comic will be bagged in opaque black poly to keep every comic a surprise!


These will include

? B&W 25th anniversary cover
? Virgin 25th anniversary cover
? Virgin B&W 25th anniversary cover
? Blank wraparound sketch cover
? Extremely rare sketch covers drawn by each series artists-25 copies per series of the 17 selected launches

Oh and the comic you have a better idea that might be in there? The Walking Dead: Here's Negan #1 – with the first 24 pages of his origin story as seen in Image Plus magazine. The only time the story will be printed in single issue format and limited to 500 copies.

The box is restricted to 1992 copies, the year in which Image Comics began. Neat.

And for retailers who want to play. and split the contents between customers, the blind box will also unfold into a sturdy 7.5" x 10.5 " x 4" counter display to showcase the exclusive comics within.
