Iron Man In Philadelphia… Or Pittsburgh. You Choose.

It must be said that Bleeding Cool was rather mean regarding the portrayal of location and distance in the UK, during Bendis and Maleev's run on International Iron Man. Possibly mixing up MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the University of Cambridge in England. And then thinking that the University of Cambridge was in London. Rather than Cambridge. And then trying to explain it away that dorms were in London. When they aren't and would be impossible, even for a young Stark.

So, yes, we went on a bit. Too much probably. Thankfully those days of getting England wrong are over now that Iron Man is no longer International and is now just either Incredible or Infamous.

Such as Incredible Iron Man #7. With the SHIELD Helicarrier 1000 feet above Philadelphia.

So why, then, does it featuring the skyline of Pittsburgh?

The BNY building, US Steel/UPMC and PPG…

Oops.

Infamous Iron Man #7 by Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev was published last week.
