Kevin Smith, Mark Hamill, Rob Liefeld to Attend Stan Lee Tribute at Grauman's Chinese Theatre

It wasn't that long ago that Stan Lee was suing POW! Entertainment for a billion dollars. But then everything changed. And a month after his death, POW! Entertainment is arranging a tribute event for the late Stan Lee to benefit the HERO Initiative.

Alongside Kevin Smith, Legion M and Agents of Mayhem, Excelsior! A Celebration of the Amazing, Fantastic, Incredible & Uncanny Life of Stan Lee, is launching today with tickets going on sale tonight. and costing from $150.

To be held on Wednesday, January 30th at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre forecourt, the event will feature speakers, an art exhibit by Rob Prior, costumes and props from Stan's cameos and creations, a musical performance and a moment of remembrance centred around Stan Lee's hand and foot imprint. After a red carpet, the evening will continue with a private tribute inside the IMAX Theatre hosted by Kevin Smith.

Smith will moderate conversations with speakers including Mark Hamill, Rob Liefeld, Michael Uslan, Vincent D'Onofrio, RZA, Tom DeSanto and others. The evening will end with video tributes and performances of Stan Lee's favourite music and poetry.
