Marvel Just Did A Terrible Thing To Spider-Woman – Thanks Madame Web!
In last year's adjectiveless Spider-Man series, Jessica Drew - Spider-Woman - was severed from the Spider-Verse Web Of Life. As was her son.

Big time spoilers ahead! In last year's adjectiveless Spider-Man series, Jessica Drew – Spider-Woman – was severed from the Spider-Verse Web Of Life. It was a thing. It meant that no longer did she exist, but that she never existed.
… but that means it wasn't just her who never existed. But also her son, Gerry.
Eventually, she was brought back, as such superheroes are. Courtesy of an ancient Spider-Doodad. But although Spider-Woman came back in one piece… she was missing Gerry. And it seems no one else knows he is missing or that he even exists.
Basically the movie Flightplan, just instead of a plane, it's the entire Marvel Universe. And only a lock of hair to keep Jessica Drew on this side of sanity…
Everyone keeps forgetting that Spider-Man's Madame Web has a new movie out in a couple of weeks, from Sony. Every time I remember, five minutes later I have forgotten. But Marvel Comics seems to have… slightly remembered.
Even in the middle of the New York Gang War, fighting Hydra and Spider-Woman's hunt for her child.
But if Madame Web is involved, then you know that everything is connected. That kind of happens whenever she is around. And has been de-aged to match Dakota Johnson playing her on screen a little bit more. Also, if you pull on one thread, it can bring the whole nature of reality crashing down.
Because it turns out that it is all connected, when she is attacked by the Green Mamba working for Hydra and Diamondback, who has similar powers to herself, turned up a notch (just like in every MCU film). Because Hydra took Gerry and, well….
Which means another confrontation with Diamondback, Hydra and the Green Mamba. Just in case she can get Gerry back, only a target as he is cursed with her own powers.
And Diamondback confesses as to his and Hydra's role in the kidnapping of her son, courtesy of their deals with hell, and other realities.
But as for what Hydra did with Gerrym, it may not be quite what Jessica thinks.
Looks like Green Mamba may have some stories to swap with Jonathan Kent.
The price of geting what you want, is geting what you once wanted. Spider-Woman has her son back, but has been robbed of his entire life. As well as having him fighting for the other side. Something Green Arrow is having to deal with thuis week as well. Clark Kent and Lois Lane lost seven years, (and readers lost the Super Sons dynamic) with Jonathan Kent, but Jessica appears to have lost around seventeen. IS this crueller than denying her of a son, to deny her of her son's life so far?
