Marvel Makes Seven December Comics Available for Retailer Exclusive Covers – Including "Incoming" #1

Bleeding Cool ran a first preview look at Marvel's upcoming Incoming one-shot for Christmas week.

Well, it is also the prime candidate for comic book retailers' exclusive variant covers for December.

Traditionally, Marvel Comics offer anything from 6 to 16 titles for such cover commissions in exchange for retailers ordering three thousand and more copies of a comic book. DC Comics has been upping their number to two or three a month. As it stands, retailers are more likely to choose DC Comics for exclusive variants wgich dozens of retailers plump for, where Marvel are lucky to get a dozen applications for any of their titles in total. But now, these are being presented as serving suggestions, and comic book retailers are welcome to order off-menu if they wish.

Here are the seven  for July

  • INCOMING #1 (Order by 11/1)
  • CONAN: SERPENT WAR #1 (Order by 10/18)
  • SYMBIOTE SPIDER-MAN: ALIEN REALITY #1 (Order by 10/25)
  • REVENGE OF THE COSMIC GHOST RIDER #1 (Order by 11/1)
  • DR. STRANGE #1 (Order by 11/1)
  • SPIDER-HAM #1 (Order by 11/1)
  • VENOM #21 (Order by 11/1)
