Novelist and collaborator with Chuck Palhianuk, Chelsea Cain was nominated in the upcoming prestigious Eisner Awards 2017 for Best New Writer for her work on Mockingbird for Marvel, which was also nominated for Best New Series.

 

But six weeks away from the show, held during San Diego Comic-Con, she hadn't heard a thing.

And why?

Because, it transpired, Marvel hadn't passed the invite or information on to her.

And there was analysis to come.

But further than that, she had praise and criticism for the company…
