BBC's First Person has run a short film about G Willow Wilson and her motivation and inspiration behind writing the new Ms Marvel series. Along the way we see a few new character designs and a little snippet of script, which looks directly at prejudices some people have about Muslim women, especially young ones. Looks like Zoe is going to be a laugh riot…

In related news, I understand that some retailers have been told by Diamond that Jamie McKelvie is drawing Ms Marvel #1. That's not true, he's just doing a variant cover. Hopefully that note can be amended…
