Old Man Logan to Wrap With November's 50th Issue?

There are a few rumours running around before San Diego Comic-Con, it always gets the jaws juddering a little. it is notable that, under EIC CB Cebulski and Publisher John Nee, there have been far fewer leaks from the House Of Ideas than usual. This time last year, we had Nick Spencer replacing Dan Slott on Amazing Spider-Man, Jason Aaron on Avengers, and Mark Waid and Chris Samnee, then Ta Nehisi-Coates on Captain America. This time, our biggest rumours are DC-based, Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp on Green Lantern, etc.

But there are a few Marvel pieces of note – though these are closer to the Yellow Lights of Lying In The Gutters rather than the Green Lights of last year.

Such as, with the return of Classic Wolverine to the Marvel Universe, that Old Man Logan as a series (and maybe even a character) is going to go away. I am told to anticipate a final issue in November with Old Man Logan #50. But, as Old Man Hawkeye is planned to wrap as well, to look forward to more tales with those characters in that universe going forward…

Look forward to plans being announced – or at least mentioned – at San Diego Comic-Con.

Here's the September solicit for #48…
