Outcast Up Top Of Advance Reorders

Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!

Advance reorders are hotting up for Outcast, the new Robert Kirkman book from Image, knocking aside the DC Bombshell variant covers which, admittedly, have been putting an extra four-to-five figure number on the books and pushing them up the Advance Reorder charts. But there's also strong performance for Trees #2 on the basis of good sales (and a strong overprint of #1) as well as Southern Bastards, Amazing Spider-Man and COWL behaving in a similar fashion. As Wolverine approaches his death knell, that book is also picking up interest. And the new team of Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr on Superman is also picking up sales.

And for books already published, Civil War makes a strong return to the charts… forget Miracleman, this continues to be an evergreen for Marvel, knocking aside Saga for a week.
