The Empty Man Sells Out, Wild's End Probably Will

It's come to my attention that The Empty Man #1, Boom's first series with creator Cullen Bunn, has sold out at the distributor level.

Initial orders for The Empty Man #1 came in at 6675 copies, but increased at FOC to 8005 copies. Boom! shipped 9500 copies to Diamond, which sold out on Friday, just three days after release. Second print on the way…

So what's next?

Well, to be released in Boom's solicitations tomorrow is Wild's End by Dan Abnett and I.N.J. Culbard, the team from DC Comics' rather wonderful The New Deadwardians.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if the aliens from H.G. Wells' "War of the Worlds" found their way to the Hundred Acre Wood from A.A. Milne's "Winnie-the-Pooh?"

Yeah, that'll get underordered…
