The Thing Makes an Insensitive Joke in Annihilation Scourge Omega #1 [Preview]
All good things must eventually come to an end. And that applies as well to crossovers events, even mini-crossover events that are biding time until next year's super-mega-crossover event. Yes, all crossover events must end. Some more punctually than others.
What we're trying to say is that Annihilation Scourge Omega #1 is in stores next week, and we've got a preview below.
The recap page explains how dire the situation is, so dire that nobody has mentioned it in any other Marvel Comics and we're unlikely to see any repercussions from it in the future either.
And then we find the Human Torch and The Thing in the Negative Zone, spotting an old friend.
It's Lockjaw and Beta Ray Bill. What a happy reunion!
Unfortunately, The Thing goes and spoils it with an offensive joke about Bill's horse-like appearance. Is it time for The Thing to be canceled?
Bill shrugs it off, more focused on his hammer, Stormbreaker, than anything.
And that focus pays off.
Annihilation Scourge wraps up on Wednesday.
