Valiant Teams With Twitch TV For #ValiantSummit 2017 – Coming April 17th
Coming off the recent launch of Matt Kindt & Tomas Giorello's X-O Manowar, Valiant will be announcing plans for its third annual live streaming #ValiantSummit event with the 2017 edition set to be broadcast live from Twitch TV's Hyper RPG studios in Los Angeles on Monday, April 17th.
The event – which Valiant promises will include a series of major announcements for new series in 2017 and beyond – will air live beginning at 2 pm ET/11 am PT and feature appearances by special guests including Christos Gage, Eric Heisserer, Jody Houser, Matt Kindt and Valiant's Dinesh Shamdasani, Warren Simons and Hunter Gorinson.
Previous summits – which have broadcasted in years past from notable locations including Twitter's San Francisco headquarters and New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater – have been the launching pad for many of Valiant's biggest initiatives. Last year's saw the independent publisher announce multiple new series including Britannia, Savage, Bloodshot U.S.A., and the recent Divinity III: Stalinverse event, to name but a few.
What could be on deck for 2017? Valiant has already teased a new publishing rollout for its biggest characters called "Icons," and today's #ValiantSummit teaser, as illustrated by artist Felipe Massafera, seems to carry that thought forward with X-O Manowar appearing side by side with Faith, Bloodshot, Shadowman, and Harbinger's Toyo Harada.
Bleeding Cool will be following the event live on Monday, April 17th, so stay tuned for news as it happens, or watch yourself on at twitch.tv/hyperrpg.
