Forza Horizon 2 Getting Fast And Furious Stand Alone DLC Next Month
Forza Horizon 2 is getting a Fast and Furious standalone DLC that will arrive in March. Just let that sentance sink in for a second. I know a ton of people who will be insanely happy about that.
The DLC won't require you to own Forza Horizon 2 as you'll be able to nab it on its own. It'll be free to play until April 10th, to get people excited about the upcoming Furious 7. That is really the killer here. I'm certain Forza Horizon 2 will end up selling a few extra copies off the back of this expansion. It will be available on Xbox One and Xbox 360 and will launch on March 27th.
The DLC is set before the upcoming movie and will have the player trying to source cars for Tej, played by Ludicrous in both this expansion and the movie. Those cars will be a 970 Dodge Charger R/T, 1998 Toyota Supra, 1970 Plymouth Road Runner, 2012 Nissan GT-R, 1970 Plymouth Cuda, 2013 Jeep Wrangler, 2014 Maserati Ghibli S and 2015 Dodge Charger.
Here is a trailer for the game DLC:

I suppose this means that the 'Forzaverse' and the 'Furiousverse' are now part of the same canon. Add the 'Top Gearverse' into the fray and we are starting to build quite a complicated lore.
