Gotham Casts Leo Fitzpatrick As An Arsonist

LeoFitzpatrickLeo Fitzpatrick, formerly of The Wire, has been cast as a recurring character for the second season of Gotham. The new season is being called Rise of the Villains and Fitzpatrick falls into that category, playing Joe Pike, the leader of a gang of arsonists called The Pike Brothers.

Now when I read that he's playing an arsonist in Gotham, I immediately think of the Batman villain Firebug, whose alias is Joseph Rigger but has taken to using multiple names over the years. It wouldn't surprise me if this or one of the other brothers turns out to be Firebug.

He could also end up being Firefly, another DC based arsonist, but one that Arrow used already. But for now he's just Joe Pike.

Gotham returns September 21st to Fox.
