Muppet Babies Being Rebooted For 2018

muppet-babiesThe Muppet Show may not have succeeded with their recent ABC reboot, but Disney is thinking they need to go younger. A reimagined Muppet Babies series has begun production and is set to debut on Disney Junior in early 2018.

The new CG-animated series will be geared towards 4-7 year olds with each episode featuring two 11-minute segments. Plots will focus on things like them building a time machine or traveling in outer space. The stories are designed to highlight creative and critical thinking skills through imaginative play.

The series will be executive produced by Tom Warburton (The 7D) with Eric Shaw (SpongeBob SquarePants) as the story editor.
