NOS4A2 Season 2 Trailer: Vic Faces Ride of Her Life to Save Her Son

Vic (Ashleigh Cummings) and Manx (Zachary Quinto) came as close to finishing each other off as any two ever could without getting the job done, which is why the second season will already be kicking off with a high level of intensity when it debuts on Sunday, June 21. Manx was faced with not only his own immortality but the person who could shuffle him off this mortal coil if she wanted. This time, Manx is looking for an advantage to rid himself of Vic once and for all, targeting the one person who means the most to her: her eight-year-old son, Wayne.

Except this isn't the first season and the Vic McQueen he's about to take on isn't the same one from nine years ago. Vic's willing to go to any means necessary to protect those she loves and to burn down Christmasland for good, even if it literally kills her. As you're about to see in new the new teaser "A Hero Rises", Vic and Manx's quest for revenge will send them on a deadly and horrific collision course that will force them to confront the sins of their pasts.

NOS4A2 Season 1 Welcomed Viewers to Christmasland

Cummings' Vic McQueen is a young, working-class artist whose creativity awakens a supernatural ability to track Manx. What Vic lacks in social confidence, she makes up for in courage, humor, and tough-as-nails grit. She strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself. Quinto's Charlie Manx is a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx's imagination where every day is Christmas and unhappiness is forbidden. Manx finds his whole world threatened when a young woman in New England discovers she has a dangerous gift.

Based on best-selling author Joe Hill's novel, and executive produced by series creator/showrunner Jami O'Brien (Fear the Walking Dead) and Hill, NOS4A2 stars Quinto, Cummings, Jahkara Smith, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Virginia Kull, Jonathan Langdon, Ashley Romans, Jason David, and Mattea Conforti.
