NBC's Saturday Night Live rolled out the SNL Midweek Sketch that saw host Colman Domingo (Euphoria, Fear the Walking Dead), who will be joined by musical guest Anitta this weekend, trying to break the news to SNL stars Veronika Slowikowska and Kam Patterson that their sketch pitch sucked (more on that above). Now, it's time to get back to the business at hand: a look at how tonight's read-thru went.

And don't forget that SNL released the lineup for its final three shows. On May 2nd, Olivia Rodrigo serves as host and musical guest. On May 9th, Matt Damon will host, with Noah Kahan as the musical guest. Finally, SNL Season 51 wraps on May 16th with host Will Ferrell and musical guest Paul McCartney. SNL Season 51: Jack Black/Jack White "Cut For Time" Sketches
Just when you thought that this past weekend's edition of NBC's Saturday Night Live, with host Jack Black and musical guest Jack White, was jam-packed with sketches and musical performances, SNL is showing us just some of what didn't make the cut. In "Chili's Waitress," a couple (Mikey Day and Sarah Sherman) celebrates their anniversary on a romantic date at Chili's. While Black and Marcello Hernandez deliver, this sketch is all about Veronika Slowikowska. In "CPAP Commercial," a commercial offers testimonials for a new kind of CPAP machine. Interestingly, if this had made the final cut, it would've been the second time in one show that Sarah Sherman would've sported inflatable "breasts."

In "Weekend Update: A Guy and His Girlfriend Who's Always Cold on Dating App Fatigue," Day and Chloe Fineman discuss dating app fatigue – and yes, that's Day sporting a Scarlett Johansson tattoo (getting a great reaction from Colin Jost). Finally, "Simon's Life" introduces us to Martin Herlihy's cousin Simon, who has trouble making new friends. Black and Andrew Dismukes stand out… for reasons we didn't see coming. Here's a look at the four sketches that would've also been nice to see during the show:
