CBS has picked up a new comedy series for the 2026-2027 slate, as they're ordering the new vampire-themed series Eternally Yours for a series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this will be a single-camera vampire comedy created by Ghosts showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, with CBS Studios. The show is being designed as a "more contemporary setting" than Ghosts, but it sounds like they're aiming to make it a potential companion to the other show. What's more, aside from having a supernatural bond between them, they're both going to be filming in the same Montreal location under the same showrunners. So it sounds like CBS is setting up its own little spooky universe, much in the same way that all the NCIS shows are in the same reality.

Vampire Will Rise For The Eternally Yours Pilot at CBS
As far as casting goes, the show will feature starring Ed Weeks and Allegra Edwards, with the story centered around the characters of Charles (Weeks) and Liz (Edwards), a vampire couple who were once in an extremely passionate romance, but have now succumbed to the dreadges of a lifeless marriage after being together for 500 years. The two live in present-day Seattle (which makes us think at least one of the creators is a fan of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines II), along with other members of their uniquely odd coven. The two have settled into a rut, that is, until their daughter's new human boyfriend enters their lives and puts a jolt of life into the vampiric family.
The show will also star Helen J. Shen, Jaren Lewison, and Parker Young, with Rose Abdoo, Tristan Michael Brown, and Shylo Molina as regulars. Port and Wiseman are expected to executive produce alongside Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, and Jason Wang.
