Star Wars: Battlefront Reportedly Coming To Xbox One First
Star Wars: Battlefront is quite possibly going to be the biggest game of the year, bringing back the beloved series right on the eve of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Well, if the presumed release dates are correct). That franchise synergy is no doubt going to be huge.
This is an interesting new development though. If you're on Xbox One, you might be getting the game before other platforms. Speaking on Twitter, Xbox marketing lead Aaron Greenberg, said fans could play it first on Xbox One.

Now, before you freak out and think this might mean that PlayStation users are out of luck when trying to get the game this holiday, this may well mean that the game is coming to EA Access. This Xbox One only service lets players get hold of select EA games for a fee, as well as early access to upcoming EA games. The prevailing theory is that this is what Greenberg is referring to. If so, this could just be an exclusive Beta or just a two or three day head start for EA Access users.
I can't see a world where Microsoft have bought holiday exclusivity for such a huge title like they have with Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Probably.
I'll update you when clarification comes though.
