Is Howard Mackie Leaving Ravagers Too?
Again, I'm working with relatively little information here. But I'm told that Howard Mackie will no longer be writing the Ravagers comic for DC.
And, as with Paul Cornell on (or rather off) Demon Knights, that's all I've been told.
Launched as part of the Second Wave of the New 52, and spinning off from Superboy and Teen Titans, Ravagers is only a few issues old. It's December solicitation reads as follows;
THE RAVAGERS #7
Written by HOWARD MACKIE
Art by IAN CHURCHILL and NORM RAPMUND
Cover by IAN CHURCHILL
On sale DECEMBER 12 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• The return of Warblade and Rose Wilson!
• Can the team finally act like a team — and survive?
• Beast Boy deals with side effects from The Rot, and Caitlin asks Superboy the unthinkable!
Paul Cornell has tweeted to confirm that Demon Knights has not been cancelled, though not anything about his continued involvement with it. And similarly, there's no indication that Ravagers will be cancelled either. But changes are expected to DC books in January and February, could this be part of that move?
