As an optimistic first-timer at SDCC I actually thought I had a decent shot at getting a Hasbro exclusive. I specifically wanted the Infinity Gauntlet and the Magic The Gathering Nerf Axe which is going for up to $450 on ebay. Hasbro continues to be the booth with the hottest exclusives and it may arguably be even harder to obtain a Hasbro SDCC exclusive then getting into Hall H for the Marvel panel. Even with a press badge, I thought it would give me a little edge, but lo and behold, it did not as I was not able to enter the exhibit hall until 6pm with everyone else. I lined up just outside the Lobby D doors which is the closest entrance to the Hasbro booth. I thought I had a shot as when the doors opened I was maybe around the 30th person to get inside. I ran as fast I could despite being told by security and the PA announcer that there is "no running on the exhibit floor". By the time I got there, the line was all the way around the booth and continued by the back wall which was at least 200 people deep. When I reached what I thought was the end of the line, it turned out to be intertwined with the Hallmark exclusives line. It was a confusing mess. I stood there and thought if it was worth standing in line. I decided to step off the line and lose the chance of obtaining one of the most powerful weapons in the Marvel Universe. Instead I headed to the Skybound booth to obtain one of the most powerful weapons in The Walking Dead universe….
Lucille!
Yes, it is sitting on my hotel bathroom toilet like a boss.

Maybe I'll use this to bash some walkers skulls in when I run The Walking Dead Escape course this Saturday at Petco Park.
