Teenage Gender Neutral Turtles, Launches This Friday. And It's Free.

Teenage Gender Neutral Turtles is a brand new title by comic creator Andrew Neal launching on Black Friday. But it won't cost you a penny.

The first 8-page chapter from Wander Lane Comics will launch on TeenageGenderNeutralTurtles.com.

Readers will meet the Teenage Gender Neutral Turtles, as well as Arthur Minor, a man who blogs about being a dad while his wife works sixty hours a week in an emergency room.

Creator Andrew Neal intends to get back to the real meaning of Black Friday. "Now Black Friday won't just be the day that you got up early, waited in line, and spent your hard-earned money on things that are probably good to have I guess. Black Friday will now be indelibly tied in your memory to the time you changed your life by reading Teenage Gender Neutral Turtles" he says.

If you feel the urge to start getting in line, you are not alone. Neal clearly knows his audience. "There are jokes which are references to things you know, which means that they are funny. For example, there is a throwaway reference to nineteen-nineties swing and ska band The Cherry Poppin' Daddies in the first 8 pages, and you will laugh at it, because you have heard of that band before."

The comic will then continue on the site – depending on how much you like it. But when will those doors open? "Be ready for TGNT to drop this Friday…. It will be released at midnight, or maybe at like nine or ten in the morning if I am not up late Thanksgiving night."

Andrew Neal is the former owner of Chapel Hill Comics as well as the former art director of the Ghost Variant programme. He knows of what he speaks.
