22 Further Printings for Doomsday Clock, Heroes In Crisis, Batman Who Laughs, Immortal Hulk, Conan, Die and More

Ooh, here's a big list. From the three biggest comics publishers in the direct market as well. Upcoming further printings….

Die #1 by Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans has gone to a Fifth Printing. That's massive. I can't remember the last time Image Comics had a comic go to a fifth printing. I think it may have been Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber's Fix #1 from 2016. Happy to be corrected.

Then for DC Comics – who usually republish on or two comics a month, and who have just dropped eleven new printings. Many of which are being dubbed 'final printings', a technique that encourages retailers to up their numbers as their last chance. Marvel to well bumping their numbers with around six to ten second printings most weeks. Could DC be playing catch-up? Might this help with quarterly reports? Anyway…

Doomsday Clock #1 is getting a Final Printing. That should be its Fifth Printing as well.

Doomsday Clock #2 is getting a Final Printing. That should be its Second Printing.

Doomsday Clock #7 is getting a Final Printing – otherwise known as its Second Printing.

The Batman Who Laughs #1 is getting a Final Printing which should be its Fourth Printing.

The Batman Who Laughs #2 is getting a Final Printing – otherwise known as its Second Printing.

The Batman Who Laughs #3 is getting a Final Printing – otherwise known as its Second Printing.

Heroes In Crisis #2 is getting a Final Printing which should be its Third Printing.

Heroes In Crisis #3 is getting a Final Printing which should be its Second Printing.

Heroes In Crisis #4 is getting a Final Printing which should also be its Second Printing.

Then Shazam #1 and Shazam #2 are getting Second Printings – but DC Comics are not ruling out more. They would also like to point out that there are copies of the Heroes In Crisis #1 first printing still available from Diamond.

All these comics will have recoloured versions of the original cover and are all out on April 17th.

Marvel also have their own list – they prefer to use whatever was the big spoiler final page of that issue, on the cover of the second printing. Because they are like that. Not so much a self-cover as a self-spoiler…

Age Of Conan: Belit #1 gets a Second Printing.

Avengers: No Road Home #6 gets a Second Printing.

Conan The Barbarian #4 gets a Second Printing.

Spider-Man: Life Story #1 gets a Second Printing.

Guardians Of The Galaxy #1 gets a Third Printing.

Immortal Hulk #8 gets a Third Printing.

Immortal Hulk #9 gets a Third Printing.

Immortal Hulk #10 gets a Third Printing.

Immortal Hulk #11 gets a Third Printing.

Immortal Hulk #12 gets a Third Printing.

And all out on April 24th. Will you pick any up? No visual yet, so we will run a few of those Marvel ones from the last couple of weeks, including The War Of The Realms #2…
