Jim Lee's Black And White Nightwing Statues Is A Man In Motion

DC Collectibles has released this video preview of the new Batman: Black and White statue of Nightwing by Jim Lee. I like the design of the statue and how Lee draws the character, but the interesting thing to me is that they are trying to show motion on a statue in a unique way… the twirling of the eskrima stick is actually four sticks with three of them being clear. It's clever and reminds me of how Frank Miller used to show Daredevil in motion by drawn extra faded versions of him.
