Crunchyroll Panel At San Diego Comic-Con Launches Their Own Show – Crunchyroll Expo

If you're an anime aficionado, then odds are good you're already well-aware of the streaming service known as Crunchyroll. Catering to the needs of every anime-loving fan, Crunchyroll offers a huge amount of titles. From the well-known and popular shows like Dragon Ball Z to obscure and offbeat anime like A Centaur's Life, they make sure to stock their video library full of content for fans of all tastes.

As for the panel itself at this year's San Diego Comic Con, perhaps it was the lack of air conditioning or due to the fact that it was late in the day, but the Crunchyroll panel seemed somewhat lackluster in its presentation. Sure, anime fans had filled up the room to the gills, many of which hoping for some juicy bits of TV gossip. Alas, they were left heavy-hearted, as Crunchyroll went a different route.

Rather, the panel focused more on some of the recent shows that are currently playing on the streaming app. Most notably, shows like Restaurant to Another World. There was also discussion of the new show The Reflection, which had involved Stan Lee teaming up with Crunchyroll. The show itself is about an event that suddenly gives a large portion of the planet's population super powers. Yet there seem to be more villains than heroes, meaning the superheroes of the world need to step up and defend the every man.

Finally, Crunchyroll revealed they would be having their own convention, appropriately titled Crunchyroll Expo; taking place in Santa Clara, California on August 25-27. It'll have plenty of anime and manga-related guests and tickets are currently on sale.

If anything was learned from the panel, it was the reaffirmation that if you were looking to find a bunch of anime, then you'd be well advised to check Crunchyroll out!
