How To Deal With The Benching Of Rogue
So, did you read Uncanny Avengers #14? No? Are you intending to? Then stop, turn right around.
The rest of you, onwards! Especially those of you still weeping…
So she got stabbed through the guts, didn't absorb Wolverine's healing factor, but just to be sure, got completely fried as well.
But you know that can't quite be the end of her.
I'm told that while, as a character, Rogue is benched and won't appear in the X-Men ongoing title anymore (hence Monet joining that team) Rogue fans should look forward to her return in a year or so, at the end of Remender's current storyline.
There are many ways out. The current time travel stories in the title might make for one solution. It's worth noting that other major event in Uncanny Avengers haven't been reflected as much in the Marvel Universe as one might expect, such as S.W.O.R.D's headquarters, The Peak, almost crashing into Brazil before being destroyed by Thor – before then appearing unaffected in both Infinity and X-Men Legacy, without even an editorial asterisk for explanation…
Timey wimey?
Either way, Rogue fans, just hang on!
