J. Scott Campbell Shares Process Art In Honor Of Thor: Ragnarok
In honor of the opening weekend for Marvel's 17th cinematic film, fan favorite artist J. Scott Campbell took to social media today and posted his process art for his Ultimate Thor #1 cover. Included in the post was an unused concept along with pencils, inks and colored version of the cover used.
The original issue came out in 2010… seven years ago… and was written by Jonahtan Hickman and drawn by Carlos Pacheco. The Synopsis read: Exploding from the pages of the Ultimates, comes Ultimate Thor! Don't miss the superstar team-up of JONATHAN HICKMAN and CARLOS PACHECO as they go back to the beginning and tell the origin of Thor, Loki and the rest of Asgard! Ragnorak has descended and Asgard sits at the edge of the end. What will become of Thor and the Warriors Three? The regular issue came with a Pacheco cover and there was two variants, one by Mike Choi and the other being this one by Campbell.
