Now, Kingpin Comes To X-Men, Spider-Man & Avengers Comics (Spoilers)

Kingpin has been on the outs of the Marvel Universe, but has now returned to play a key role in X-Men, Spider-Man and Avengers comics.

Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, has been on the outs of the Marvel Universe of late. Named suspect in the death of Matt Murdock (it was his twin fictional brother), he fled New York – and the mayorship of the city – to seek sanctuary in Krakoa, courtesy of his mutant wife Typhoid Mary.

Not everyone was pleased with the arrangement, but this was an island that had taken on Apocalypse, Mister Sinister, Sebastian Shaw, Apocalypse and Omega Red. In comparison, the Kingpin of crime was a minnow.

Though for the Kingpin, it may have been out of the New York fat and into the Krakoan fire, after an assault from Orchis.

Wilson Fisk had been principal in saving the life of the old Hellfire Club member Lourdes and her teleporting powers.

Necessary when teleporting those mutants who could resist (more on that later) off the island of Krakoa.

But that did not include Typhoid Mary, banished several others to the Asgardian/Otherworldian land of Vanaheim. And clearly used to the finer things than Asgardian Gods who have given up their grandeur for the simpler life in an attempt to evade their fate.

It did, however, grant him a ride.

But they had to move on from there.

Subsequent events see Wilson Fisk joining Emma Frost in New York to sign some very important papers…

,,,interrupted by Iron Man in his own title…

Fisk is still wanted for murder here, but the Stark Sentinels haven't come for him.

As a citizen of Krakoa he may even have diplomatic immunity. As for Typhoid Mary, she would much rather be joining her husband, especially in his new role as White King of the Hellfire Club.

Dressed in white, but also in mourning, believing his wife to be dead and vowing payback against those responsible. It may be in mutantkind's interest for Typhoid Mary not to return just yet.

So wilson fisk, as a human representative of Krakoan interests takes control of the mutant money side of New York.

But it also appears that he will be involved in the upcomingGang War event running through Spider-Man titles now that he is back in New York.

The Kingpin enacted anti-superhero laws in New York that even the new mayor Luke Cage is having difficulty unraveling.

With Luke Cage challenging Spider-Man to do something with public relations to solve it.

What if that's what Gang War will be about? New York's superheroes showing their worth against the gangs? What role will Wilson Fisk play in that? As Typhoid Mary is still fighting in Vanaheim in Realm Of X without a hope of returning and proving to her husband that she is still alive.

The crimes of Orchis may be exposed by a human witness to them all.

One that Steve Rogers arranged to meet with Ben Urich.

Well, there was no one else it could be, is there?

And if there's a trial coming, there's no one better to have on your side.

Because there is a trial coming… full of lots of lovely publicity.

Almost as if there was something Wilson Fisk was being Born Again to do…
